I am a complete newbie and would like to know if it is possible to unlock this bios.


Here are the files that I extracted using Hp Bios update .exe file: Download

Normal BIOS upgrade method: download an exe file from official website and execute it in windows.
Official file: Download

Bios: Insyde F.34

Reason of request: XMP ram support and other advanced settings. Finding a key combination for unlocking advanced tab. Fan control and thermal control.

Hi friend,
HP has all Firmware RSA Signed and actually only the olders models to 2015/2016 can be modified … i’m sorry, you cah get only some few things modifying
the NVRAM variables, so let me know what are you looking for this modify and may something we can get.

Hi @BDMaster thank you so much for your interest. I would like to know if its possible to use my XMP profiled rams on this laptop. The red box is the profile that my processor supports by default and the green box is the profile that i want to achieve.

Hello again @BDMaster Unfortunately, I failed to find anything related to memory in this text file. There seems to be a hidden Advanced tab in the BIOS which I believe includes ram options.

However, there is no form set "Advanced" detailed in the document. It is only listed at the beginning of the document.
