Hey,
my configuration is the following:
2 x SSD each as single Disk
2 x WD HDD as RAID0
sysProfile
I Need to Transfer my data to a larger disk storage so I bought additional HDDs which will later replace the old RAID0. I configured the two new HDDs as RAID0 using ctrl+i while booting up.
The RAID0 creates without problems but doesnt show up in Windows 8.1. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Don
As long as no partition within the RAID array has been created, formatted and gotten a drive letter, you will not see this "raw" drive within the Windows Explorer.
Open the Disk Management. There you should see the RAID array.
Hi Fernando,
thanks for your quick answer. I didnt specifiy that the drive didn’t show up in diskmgmt.msc.
Funny thing though - after deinstalling the RST GUI and several reboots, the new RAID0 array shows up in diskmgmt. I just assigned a letter and started copying.
Thanks Fernando,
Don
