I purchased a HGST HUSMR7676BDP3Y1 which is a 7.68tb u.2 nvme drive, connected to a pcie adapter. I at first had problems with the drive showing 0 bytes but used the HDM tool to format the drive and then created the partition in gparted. Installed into a machine and fresh install of windows also showed only 6tb.
Bios shows 7.6tb, but CrystalDiskInfo only shows 6.4tb and Windows after formatting only shows 5.9tb in disk manager.
Is there something I’m missing here? Besides space…
