hello i have a problem acer aspire E5-576G extracting bios files
when extracted this version v1.49 it gave me a bunch of .fd files
ZAA_multi.fd = 7089KB
ZAA2_multi.fd = 7089KB
ZAA3_multi.fd = 15281KB
ZAA4_multi.fd = 15281KB
ZAAR_multi.fd = 7089KB

i dump the bad flashed bios contents of the chip it has 8192KB
i flash ZAAR_multi.fd = 7089KB via ch341a programmer but board can boot up,
which file or should i edit file first via hex?

So sorted out for sure @ride_bmx_mhell ? If yes, we’ll leave in case the next user with this model finds and carries on questions.

To answer in general, without looking at the files, you probably need to further extract an actual BIOS IMG from one of those two below, since the others are smaller than your original BIOS.
ZAA3_multi.fd = 15281KB
ZAA4_multi.fd = 15281KB

They likely contain IMG of BIOS, EC, ME, Driver, INI etc

yes it is,but it give me a headache finding offsets.
but i found a working bios.bin (8192KB) deeply in the net,then compared my corrupted dump and editing extracting necessary files to my new-mod.bin and flash it thru my ch341a programmer and laptop boots but uuid have a fffff values…but this can be fixed…thats my another problem now.

I can give you the extracted files from the stock .fd files if you want, and or show you how to find and grab them. But to correct your UUID, you’d need to give me your original UUID or serial etc, so I can find it in your backup and tell you where to edit it into new BIOS.
