Hi,
I’m new on the forum so sorry in advance for any stupid questions.
I have the Acer Nitro 5 with i5 11400H and a RTX 3060 6GB. Things get hot so I wanted to undervolt the CPU since in most games the GPU is bottleneck.
I used insyde software to unlock the voltage in XTU or Throttlestop. XTU still locked but throttlestop got some things unlocked after the using the software and changing one number in the “CPU” variables.
Throttlestop even after changing the voltage offset doesn’t apply it. Yes, I did apply it and checked to “OK, applies immediately”.
Is the BIOS mod an answer to unlocking desktop futures like voltage control?
