ACER TravelMate 8172 and ME firmware

Used INTEL-SA-00075 Discovery Tool to check ME firmware and I’m just curious why this laptop has 6.0.30.1203 if latest (based on this site) is 6.0.30.1199. And question is: can I upgrade to version 6.2.50.1062 ? How to recognize if I have

this
Intel ME 6 1.5MB Firmware v6.2.50.1062
For 5-series (Ibex Peak) systems which come with ME firmware v6
or this
Intel ME 6 Ignition Firmware v6.0.30.1199
For 5-series (Ibex Peak) systems which come with ME Ignition firmware v6

Your system is not vulnerable to INTEL-SA-00075/CVE-2017-5689 because it is a 1.5MB (Consumer) system. You can update to Intel ME 6 1.5MB Firmware v6.2.50.1062 if you like via FWUpdate tool.

Any idea how to do it ?

Ok solved.
Used meset.exe and flashed corerctly.
Thanks

You used the wrong tool, you should use the FWUpdate fwupdlcl instead.

AFAIK the MESET.exe is intended to be used on CLEVO laptops only, I have never known that it works on other brands.
