I need to downgrade my devices bios from v 1.20 to 1.05. I upgraded the device and now battery and performance has dropped. The bios exe file will not permit downgrading.
Files extracted from the ‘A4DBH105.EXE’ file are Ding.wav, FlsHook.exe, FlsHookDll.dll, FWUpdLcl.exe, H2OFFT-W.EXE, iscflash.dll, iscflash.sys, iscflashx64.sys, platform.ini Vpro.fd, xerces-c_2_7.dll. When H20FFT-W.exe is executed additional files NoneVpro.fd and platforms.fd are created and disappear when closing the application. I’ve tried editing the platform.ini file to allow force downgrade ect. but ini file must be embedded into the .fd file. Only way I can think of downgrading is by editing the platform.ini file embedded in the .fd or a windows app that will allow down grading but I’m unsure how to do this.
Would be grateful if can anyone assist?

Thank you very much for you help it is much appreciated. If you extract the bios file from the description you can access the ini file from there. The link navigates to the bios I would like to flash just need to be able to force flash it. When I edit the ini file it has no effect as I believe its embedded into the .fd bios file?

Hi thanks for the link. It does flash but its version 1.20 the version I’m currently on I need 1.05. I’ve also forgotten my bios password that I set over a year ago 
any help would be greatly appreciated? Can still access windows.

Hi can get the bios screen shot as soon as I’m back from work. What screen shot do you need? It it when it fails to flash the 1.05 bios version? Just found an application called insyde H20EZE-W that enables bios editing and in the instructions it shows how you can edit the initilising start up ect. But when I try to run the exe windows comes up with an error saying not not for this version of windows?

you can increase the performance by using it, it does not make sense to lower the lot, use the latest version for a smooth experience

Hi thanks for your hard work much appreciated. I tried to run as you described but windows comes up with the message that it cannot run the application. Is it a 32 bit exe maybe that’s why it’s not executing. I were nearly there though. Is it possible to change the h20fft.exe to one that will run? Many thanks.
Thank you. Tried flashing and I’m getting a Bios version compare error! message. This is what I got when trying to swap over a few parameters. Any more ideas?
When using the tool the version from your download 7zS9B52.tmp is V1.9 so im guessing that’s why the message comes up. I can still flash on V1.20 as that’s what I’m currently on if that helps.
