I would like to flash the BIOS to default settings, but being a newbie I do not understand the options.
The reason I need to do this is because I bricked the computer by disabling all USB2 ports in BIOS at dawn when I was not thinking straight. Taking out the BIOS battery and cutting power has not reset the BIOS. And it is set to boot UEFI only.
I have made a WINPE that auto launches afuwinx64 and flashes the BIOS but either it flashed but did not reset the settings or it did not flash at all. The usual flashing message like "Reading" and others did show on the console.
If anyone could tell me if there are options to reset the BIOS during flash, please do. I would greatly appreciate it.
afuwinx64 [rom name] /N reset the UEFI Setup and USB2 is working again.
