AM5 or LGA 1700 or LGA 1851 CPUs Compatible with Windows 7

Would anyone have a spreadsheet for which modern CPUs and/or motherboard combinations are compatible with Windows 7?

I hear that user @Canonkong is an expert in this subject. I was looking to send a pm, but the functionality does appear to be available.

I’m looking to build a PC with the most modern components that can run Win7. Whilst researching the CPUs it appears that we have a few form factors, AM5 (PGA) or LGA.

I was going to to use AMD 9 5950 but see some posts of more modern CPUs running Win7. If I can get a AM5 CPU/socket motherboard to be compatible with Win7, then that would be great!

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Well if you mean a user elaborated report list it must be gathered researched, then ignore MS one.

Going to that link, selecting Windows 7 and Earlier, the list doesn’t even show Ryzen 9 5950X, which is compatible with Win7.

I suggest you go for AM4. I don’t think anybody would need anything more than Ryzen 7 5700X. I have a PC running 7 2700X since 2020 and I only use 3% of its power.
