AMD and Nvidia GOP update (No requests, DIY)

I read the tread…
Yeah but for macOS you can even flash a dedicated Apple EFI rom (HD7xxx/8xxx/R92xx) and still works as UEFI in Windows.
The file he provided you is the rom i linked, he just did what i told you and updated the GOP with GOPupdater.

Hi there.
Which version of XFX RX6600XT can I upgrade?
What’s on it:
GOP Driver Name: AMD GOP X64 Release Driver Rev.3.1.0.Mar 14 2021.23: 17:45

Bios: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/2361…0xt-8192-210426

Thanks!

No one had released an updated version of GOPupdater in recent times… to support this new AMD gen GOP driver.

Not expected anymore?

Is GP1xx - 0x30012 - Jun 18 2019 - 26614047 - 8753D2F5 the latest GOP for pascal? Or how do i find a newer version GOP and extract it?

Edit: Found GOP for GP1xx ver 0x30013, link here. Found GOP for TU1xx ver 0x5001D, link here. Found GOP for GA1xx ver 0x60010, link here.

Love and blessing to all <3

@Sylar76 @lordkag it seems this thing happens, idk what to do (RTX 3060 Colorful):

I also have the same issues with MSi 2060 Ventus XS OC like this “please report one”

GTX1080, updated UEFI to 0x30013. Everything is fine!

Excellent, thanks! Seems to still contain the v0.4.4 changelog, though?

The one updated and posted here by @pitdicker (also numbered v0.4.9) seems to have the changelog content from v0.4.4 onwards:

[110421] v0.4.5

[121220] v0.4.4
built on: GOPUpd_v1.9.6.5.k
- Added GOP: Fermi2 v0x10035 (THX Ludolf)
- Added Python Edition
- Updated: #AMD_ROM_Info.bat / amdvbflash.exe

I updated GOP in the AMD HD7450 card but noticed that the Aspect Ratio option in the monitor has stopped to be available. Connection is DP-HDMI cable.
After upgrading GOP amdvbflash.efi shows the lack of tables! GOPUpd - GOP Driver does not carry tables!

I came back to the older original GOP.

I checked the original bios from a rx580 with 1.61.0.15.50 gop and the bios shows also lack of tables, so for newer cards this is right (gop era 1.60.x.x) but i don’t know for this old card.

No update for 6600XT?

Is it possible to FORCE UPDATE the GOP, even the Version is the same?

MANUFACTURER_ROM_Sapphire_RX550_4GB_Samsung_367A05S0.zip (108 KB)

MANUFACTURER_ROM_Sapphire_RX550_4GB_Micron_367A0500.zip (109 KB)

GOP update is a (GOP)EFI driver module initialization, nothing to do with vbios versions, so can you tell us the purpose of forcing the same update on GOP… really not follow

I’ve got two RX550 - the first one with Samsung Chipset and the other one with Micron Chipset.

Just for my understanding… this program does nothing else rather than updating the GOP drivers on my RX550 with Micron Chipset, right?

My intention was that if some other changes were made to the RX550 Micron card, than the changes should be reflected to the other RX550 Samsung card.

Did I miss a point?

Updating UEFI Gop Tables has nothing to do with memory modules of the specific graphic card (Micron, Samsung, Hynix, and so on…).

I just updated the GOP for my Asus 2070 Mini OC from 50014 to 50018 so I thought I’d share some info.

I have uploaded #GOP_Database.txt for all Turing GOP’s (I have added 5000E, 5000F, 5001C) and all the Turing GOP EFIROMs for anyone that wants them;

Turing_GOP.zip

I’d suggest anyone with a Turing card to only update to a GOP version that is exactly the same size as the GOP in the VBIOS you want to update e.g.

50005 = 71,168 bytes
50006 = 71,168 bytes
50008 = 71,168 bytes
50009 = 71,168 bytes

5000A = 69,632 bytes
5000B = 69,632 bytes
5000C = 69,632 bytes
5000D = 69,632 bytes
5000E = 69,632 bytes
5000F = 69,632 bytes
50011 = 69,632 bytes
50012 = 69,632 bytes
50013 = 69,632 bytes
50019 = 69,632 bytes
5001A = 69,632 bytes
5001B = 69,632 bytes
5001C = 69,632 bytes
5001D = 69,632 bytes

50014 = 69,120 bytes
50015 = 69,120 bytes
50016 = 69,120 bytes
50018 = 69,120 bytes

You can swap the one you want with the one currently in the #GOP_Files folder - just remember to rename it to nv_gop_TU1xx.efirom

Note that there are two versions of 50019, the larger one was found in Quadro T600 Mobile and Quadro T400 Mobile VBIOS;

50019v2 = 73,216 bytes

There is also a modified version of Nvflash 5.735 to override Subsystem ID mismatch here (source) - thanks TheSin!
