@ Sylar76:

Thank you for updating GOPUpd. It would be better if you didn’t increase the version though. If for example the last one is 1.9.5, I would do something like 1.9.5.x or similar to avoid confusion with the current or any future release from lordkag.

Ok mate, I’ll update it as 1.9.5.x

Hello My graphics card is GTX560Ti, GPU number is GF114. Can I use this software to add the UEFI module? If so, how should we choose?

Yeah i have the same question. Have 560TI (GF114). Is it possible to add uefi support there. I really need it for my kvm pci-passthrough experiments.

You have to use the GF1xx UEFI table.

Thank’s for the great topic… I have succsesfully update my GOP to the last one…
ASUS 970 STRIX…

Thanks,

Thanks for updating this! i find this extremely useful for my mxm laptop, adding UEFI support has helped me boot up alot of old Quadro cards and GTX5XX~8XXM series.

These two GOP Drivers seem to be new.

Hello, I’m here again in the forum because I changed my HW recently. Now I have an MSI 970A - G43 PLUS board with a Shappire HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 card and Win 10 with GPT and UEFI enabled (clean installed).

Recently discovered the problems of a card with not GOP.

Actually flashed the card with a modded bios from other forum (see atachment - it has 1.43 GOP version and it is 128kb in size), but… If I enable “Windows 8 feature” + “Fast Boot” in BIOS, error and automatically disabled all UEFI options and goes to legacy. So, I’m booting in UEFI but not PURE UEFI (no quick boot, seeing board logo like an old system without UEFI…). Actually the MSI BIOS config is “UEFI boot” + “Fast Boot Enable” but the problem: “Windows 8 feature” (it is that disables CSM) always goes disable after short beeps on POST.

I made one updated bios with this post tools (from original Barts.bin file), but the resulting BIOS size is smaller than original (122 kb vs 128 kb). Can I brick the card with this size issue?

Thanks and sorry for my english.

GOP Updater updated. 30007 is the new Pascal table.

@snowind

Try this. The smaller size is due to removing unneeded padding data.

Thanks Sylar76 but again is 122kb. It is not risk to flash it? It is secure?
