This BIOS file can only add 1.6X EFI using GOP_Updater, cannot use version 2.7.0.0
Can you please modify one using version 2.7.0.0?

What GPU do you have? Because 2.X AMD UEFI images can be used only with >= VEGA GPUs (IIRC)

The BIOS I found at this URL is 256KB.

But TechPowerUp only provides 60KB, and the BIOS version is different.
I hope someone can fix it and try to work properly

Can’t you dump your own bios of our card? And use that as base to put the UEFI inside?
Also, I think that your card should have 2.x UEFI, probably the tool is misreading/misinterpreting the ids of your card (of the bios you where trying to patch, thats why you should dump your own bios).
hello I’d like to replicated the patching process (for AMD 1.x images) inside some of tool that I use… But I’m lost. there are so many post. Is there any explanation in this thread or I have to search somewhere else?
I’d try tagging @hellm (why is that not working properly for me?). He’s your man. Maybe he’ll reply here. Or you can track him down elsewhere(overclock.net?). Though…he has replied to similar questioning in this thread with something to the effect of "open a hex editor and see what I did…then copy that".

Hi mate, I’ve checked bios you linked above and both don’t contain any gop uefi table. What are you thinking to do with one of them ?

If both of them say “UEFI Supported: Yes”, then does it mean that it has GOP UEFI table in it and can I boot in UEFI mode without problem?

I’m here to report some of the output I got when trying to patch the vbios of my rtx2080 mobile.
I’m hoping to add uefi compatibility to my gpu for testing gpu passthrough with libvirt/qemu/ovmf. I would be passing it through libvirt instead of flashing it to the card itself.
attached file 2080w.zip contains my dumped rom.

Besides the errors to report notifications, the only change that was concerning with the generated image was the missing inforom.
