Hi guys, trying to update at least one of my cards to be UEFI ready, an NVS 295 on the one hand, and a GT610 on the other.
After some fidling around I go tthe tool to work but apparently the resulting VBIOS is too large to fit.
While I totally can belive this is true for the NVS 295, there was an UEFI ready bios by the manufacturer of the GT610 (its an GT610-SL-1GD3-L from Asus) but their tools is unfortunately defunct by now (afaik it detects the card and then downloads the bios form an Asus server, I guess the server does not exist anymore).
I attached the roms I dumped from the cards as well as the onced with the added GOP. Is there any chance I can this to work?
roms.zip (382 KB)
There is not much to do, the flash-memory is to small to hold the complete rom, you can solder a bigger one to the cards. The gop-updater added the uefi-image correctly. The ASUS-rom won’t solve your problem, it will also to big for your card.
The attached GF119 has no gop. It would grow to a similar size when adding the gop-image.
@lordkag , @Ruin & @Sylar76 : Thank you for the very hard work and the good tool. It was very easy.
I´ve updatet my Saphire Nitro RX570 8GB from 1.61.0.15.50 (2017, Jan) to 1.69.0.15.50 (2019, May). Flash was very easy²
Two questions :x
1). In Changelog´i see: Added GOP: AMD 2.15.0.17.10
With this tool i "only" get the 1.69. Is this correct or maybe i do something wrong? :x
2.) After flash with atiflash & the restart; in wich .bat oder Tool from the zip, i can see the flashed GOP(Version)? I opened the GopINfoX.exe & #AMDinfo.ba but sadly it close after double-click
PS: Sorry for my bad english. Nice Greetings from Berlin

Hello forum. I have a gtx 1080 ti inno3d ichill x3. My system is stable in CSM. Yesterday I decided to switch to GPT, and installed the system in uefi, and found that the video card behaves extremely incorrectly, after setting the permission to cru after restarting, I get a black screen. Also, I cannot shutdown and reboot the system as the screen simply hangs and the system gets up tight. What was done:
Installing fix displayport nvidia bios firmvare update, updating GOP BIOS, installing BIOS from another video card. Nothing helped, the video card does not work well with uefi either. Please, help.
Hi Guys. I have the Asus z9pe-d8 WS motherboard and the Sapphire RX580 4gb Graphic Card. With the disabled CMS, my mobo does not boot and freezes at postcode 97 (Console output devices are connected)
If I connect the GTX970 card to my mobo with the CMS turned off, everything works fine. If I connect my RX580 to another mobo (Huanan x79 2.47) and turn off the CMS everything works without problems. I tried updating GOP to the latest version with
GOPUpd_v1.9.6.5, but that doesn’t fix the situation.
I cannot understand what is the reason. I have confirmation that the Chinese RХ580 Kinology works on the same Asus z9pe-d8 WS mobo with the CSM turned off.
Can anyone give some advice to solve my problem. I attached my vbios for Sapphire and the bios of the Chinese Kinology.
And another question, is it possible to downgrade the GOP version?

hello
i have geforce 210 graphics card (it has gt218 gpu) right now and i want to make it UEFI compatible.
so i just downloaded the program and followed steps and succesfuly updated my bios file.
but bios size is now 2x larger before:62kb new one:123kb
if i flash it through nvflash can i encounter any issues,problems or can i brick the card?
@temroa
U cant… and wont even get flashed because if original card rom chip only as available space fort 64k, period.
@temroa
If your eeprom can accomodate 128 kb rom size you will not have any issue at all flashing modded bios.
Just try nvflash and follow the info displayed on your screen.
i’ve just flashed with your suggestion and no problem happened, thanks
