Hello Fernando
Well, I have two more SATA ROM’s to update then once done we can add them to the list of approved
Motherboard
P7P55D Deluxe - current OROM is 10.1.0.1035
P7P55D Premium - current OROM is 8.9.0.1023
I read up on the Deluxe on the list, is that the highest possible per your records?
I do not see one for a Premium board, use the same one as the Deluxe one?
Which Intel RST is best suited to the OROM version per your list?
Thanks again
I don’t know. 11.6.0.1702 was the newest available Intel RAID ROM version, when TeleTubby66 has modded and flashed the BIOS of his mainboard.
Probably yes, but you will have to find it out yourself.
Which OROM version do you mean? Furthermore everything depends on your SATA mode and HDD/SSD configuration.

I meant the 11.6.0.1702 that TeleTubby66 did. Currently both mobo’s have single SSD’s on them and they are in RAID mode using the Intel RST 12.6.3.1000. Testing says using the current OROM on both these boards (for my set up)
AHCI mode - good overall scoring between reads/writes
RAID mode - stronger in reads/weaker in writes
RAID mode is what I currently have both set to since the SSD’s do not do a lot of writing; they do more reading (3 to 1) so I leave it in RAID mode. So just wondering if you had data on the OROM 11.6.0.1702 with these Intel RST 12.6.3.1000 on a P55?

No, I haven’t, but for P55 chipset systems I would prefer the OROM v11.2.0.1527/RST driver v11.2.0.1006 combo, with the exception of an SSD RAID0 system (then an Intel RAID ROM v11.6.0.1702 or newer is required to get TRIM in RAID0 working).
Well, been a while. Just an FYI, I updated the OROM for the following
Asus P7P55D Deluxe
MB
Intel P55
Intel RST RAID ROM v11.2.0.1527
Success
No issues
I might try the ROM 11.6. that is listed later, if I do I’ll report back the results
