I was playing around with two similar x99 motherboards from the same manufacturer being MSI. One motherboard the ‘X99S’ works like it should. The second more expensive ‘X99A’ motherboard double posts in that it goes on for 2-3 seconds and shuts off from cold state and then powers back on with out problems and will reboot without issues while warm. My guess is one motherboard has better ram profiles than the other despite a very similar bios. So any way to transfer those ram profiles from one bios to another?
