I have an N3450 motherboard for soft routing. For better virtualization performance, I want to enable the vt-d function. vt-d is disabled by default, and the Advanced menu is also hidden. I use AMIBCP 5.0.2 changed the bios, but still cannot display the hidden Advanced menu. After each boot, it will automatically enter the bios recovery interface and prompt “rom image is not loaded rom image update denied”, then I use mmtools to extract the setup module and modify it separately.But the same problem happened to the obtained bios.

I used uefitools to view and used beyondcompare to compare hexadecimal files, and found that when it first started, the main change was the Devexp1 region. After the second start, the bios region was also changed, I checked Some information about Device Expansion region.It seems to be a new area starting from Apollolake, but I have not found any information that is helpful to solve why the modification is invalid and will enter the recovery mode.
