Not me. Turned my system into a vegetable. Find the whole story on the ME management thread.
Edit: Turned out Ubutool botched the MC update process. Did it by hand with hexedit and uefitool and it works now,

First of all, forgive me for the “newbie” question.
I’m using UBU v1.69.5 on a ASUS P8P67 PRO rev 3.1, bios 3602.
CPU is an Intel Core i7-2600K.
Is it possible to update the Intel EFI module to v15.1.0.2545 (currently, I’m on v12.9.0.2006)?
I’m asking because this option is actually present in UBU.
Thanks and kind regards.
@thecrowler :
You can insert any Intel RST EFI RAID module from the v14 or v15 platform, but it will not properly work with your Intel 6-Series Chipset system.
As well as the Get Well soon from myself SoniX, do you know the cost to repair/help your issue?
Maybe a gofundme type thing if you know how much whatever is needed will cost?
Or is it a crappy situation like my pops and his eyes are just toast and no current procedure can help
@SoniX - Hope you get well buddy, your the only person I know of, that actually makes updates for my z77 ASUS board, (because the motherboard Makers don’t seem to give a monkeys about the end user any more) hope it’s not a permanent condition and you can actually recover from it, have a great Christmas from all of your end users
@ SignedAdam
Thank you.
Unfortunately for 6-9 series motherboards it is very unlikely, there will be new files of OROM, EFI and microcodes.

Is it possible to have only 0.1.13 Intel Boot Agent CL .LOM file please ?
Why don’t you download the package and extract the module file?
I did it but I don’t know how to extract .lom file from the .FLB image file.
Hi,
There is Asus TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX R3.0 which includes nvme 3 files at it’s bios. I have extracted and packed in for my TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX Gen3 R2.0 but I don’t have a M.2 disk, I am unsure.
There is also nvme drivers inside Asus X79-Deluxe, Version 4805 is the only x79 mainboard includes nvme files! it’s bios dated 02-03-2016, (when installed it shows 02-02-2016 for date.) I have extracted and installed those 3 files as well for my Rampage IV Extreme mainboard by using CH341A flashing device succesfully. It won’t accept flashing any other way. I managed to convert cap file to bin by using save option with your program. But again, I can not check the result.
The thing that I want to inform is that, Asus mainboards doesn’t like to latest microcode is your program. I have used cpu-z’s cpu benchmark, original Asus microcode get better results!
Bye for now, hope you get well soon…
@karakarga :
I have moved your post into this UBU Discussion thread, because the other UBU thread is reserved for the author of the UBU tool and his announcements of new UBU versions.
By the way: Only your report about the update of the CPU microcode has something to do with the UBU tool, whereas your problem to get a modded BIOS successfully flashed into the BIOS chip of your mainboard is absolutely off topic. Please read the start post of >this< thread carefully. You have to use the ASUS USB Flashback feature!
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
I am Radio, TV, film studies graduate, retired now. I can understand, what is related, what is not. I think, it is related! ASUS USB Flashback method is not accepting on most Asus mainboards. I am telling that, the problem is not related by the saving of the file, ASUS USB Flashback refuses to accept. This in not off off the topic! I have written the nvme files for 990fx and x79 sources for new version for the development of the program. Again it is not off off the topic!
@karakarga :
What have the NVMe modules to do with the “UEFI BIOS Updater” (UBU)? This tool is neither able to insert nor to update any NVMe BIOS module.
But your ASUSRampage IV is suported by this specific ASUS feature! If the USB Flashback method didn’t work for you, you obviously have done something wrong (using a not matching USB flash drive, a wrong USB port or a wrong BIOS file name).
"But your ASUSRampage IV is suported by this specific ASUS feature!"
Well Asus Rampage IV does not include those 3 files. As I said, this feature can be added in future versions of UBU.
X79 mainboards need “Asus Hyper M.2 x4 Mini” cards. Those 3 files called Nvme.ffs, NvmeSmm.ffs and NVMEINT13.ffs. They are mostly present in x99 mainboards. UBU may insert them automatically. The only x79 mainboard includes them is Asus X79-Deluxe.
Like wise for AMD mainboards Asus TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX R3.0 includes those 3 files, to add for older AMD mainboards by UBU.
But earlier I have written down, Asus bios.cap files gives an error when flashing after adding those files by using MMTOOL’s insert feature. I have managed to do this by CH341A bios programming tool. It works by usb port. Mine is black and gold colored. This one is very cheap about 3-5 dollars. It is present at uTube videos as well. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NYe21nFSDI
UBU displays details if this feature is present. It says: Found EFI AMI NVMe Driver if those files are present!
I have tought, they can be added in the future UBU versions, as a feature!
