Ok, I’ll be waiting.

@SoniX
Hello SoniX and thanks again for your hard work to keep up to date U.B.U.!
As read in the 1.28 Beta 2 changelog:
Updated:
- OROM and EFI IRST RAID v14.5.0.2241
Removed:
- OROM and EFI IRST RAID v14.0.0.2234
You removed the OROM and EFI IRST RAID V.14.0.0. 2234 and added the OROM and EFI IRST RAID V.14.5.0.2241 but as read here in the thread these latest OROM on UEFI are suitable only for APTIO V BIOSes.
I think that would be nice to reintroduce the OROM and EFI IRST RAID V.14.0.0.2234 to give the possibility to people that have AMI APTIO IV to update theri BIOSes to the latest fully working INTEL OROM.
Would it be possible?
Thanks in advance for your kindness and patience.
Cheers,
KK
@ killkernel
If we follow your logic, then the OROM and EFI IRST 14.0.0.2234 also apply to the platform Aptio5. This is not true.
IRST 14.x.x.xxxx series designed for 10 chipsets, but as shown by tests that can run on 8 and 9 chipsets.
All EFI-files (FFS) in UBU made to the BIOS on the platform Aptio4.
@killkernel
14.5.0.2241 OROM and EFI Raid are working flawlessly on my Z87 motherboard.
What you read is regarding to previous files (not compressed) posted early which
were faulty.
@Sylar76
OK thanks for the info, i didn’t read that previous posted files were faulty and i’m happy that all is working flawlessly with V.14.5.0.2241 OROMs… I need holidays and rest!
@SoniX
Thanks for your quick reply.
Cheers,
KK

DrvVer v0.19.0
Add EFI Intel FCoE, ‘x86’ for LAN Realtek and GOP Clover and Valley.
Edit:
@lordkag
DrvVer v0.19.2
I made a display of the full version for the GOP ValleyView. Please check the correctness of the display.
Edit:
Remove file. Added in UBU 1.28 BETA 3
ASMedia 106x AHCI ROM v0.97 works fine for me on my Z77.
For me and my Z97 system as well.

Quick question:
My RAID OROM version is “OROM IRST RAID for SATA - 11.2.0.1527” based on the latest UBU’s detection results. When I try to update it, why are my options only these:
1 - Update to v3.8.0.1029
2 - Update to v4.2.0.1036/4.1.0.1026
?
In the first post, the screenshot still shows versions in the 11.x, 12.x, and 13.x ranges. Why the difference?
Fixed in UBU v1.28 BETA3
Yes, those results came from v1.28 beta 2. I tried v1.27 and it gave me the results that I was expecting. Ok, I’ll try that.
Regarding the LAN OROM, what is the difference between the utility found here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa…work-Connection
Also, if I just use AHCI and a discrete graphics card I won’t need the IRST OROM/EFI SataDriver and the Intel vBIOS OROM/GOP drivers since they won’t be enabled in any way, correct?
This fix in the firmware of the controller LAN, for correct operating system.
Yes.

T - IRST TRIM-in-RAID0 Addon for Intel 6-Series motherboards
I know that pressing that choosing the "T" option there would bring up the "especially modified" RAID OROM and RaidDriver for the 6-series motherboard. My question though is if option 2 there is a non-modified RAID OROM and RaidDriver or a "universally modified" one?
All offered modules except the "T" ones are original (= untouched).
Just as I thought. Is there any reason why UBU does not use the universally modified ones but instead uses the especially modified drivers?
You are wrong regarding the sort of modification. Since CPL0 has detected the special Byte, which enables the TRIM in RAID0 support for all Intel RAID0 systems from ICH8R up, nobody offers here anymore RAID ROM/EFI RAID modules, which are "especially modified" (e.g. just for P55, P67 or Z68 chipsets).
The UBU tool doesn’t offer any "especially" modified BIOS modules.
Nevertheless only Intel 6-Series Chipset RAID0 system benefit from the "TRIM in RAID0 modded" modules, which can be found within the "TRIM6" subfolder of the UBU tool.
Simple reason: UBU only works with UEFI BIOSes and the only Intel Chipsets, which have an UEFI BIOS, but natively no TRIM in RAID0 support, are the 6-Series ones.
