Hello, I have an ASRock B450M HDV R4.0 paired with a Ryzen 7 2700, and I enabled Modern Standby/“S0I3” by enabling S0I3 and some other options using AMIBCP (by making Enabled the default for 'em), then I had to dump the ACPI tables, edit the FACP table to change “Low Power S0 Idle”/ACPI_S0_LOW_POWER_IDLE from “0” to “1”, enable test signing, and drop my modified facp.aml in system32 as “acpitabl.dat”, and modern standby works now, but I can’t figure out how to save my modified facp.aml to the UEFI image itself so that I don’t need acpitabl.dat anymore, is there a way I can go about doing this?
Thanks.
winaio and dism gui, are u saying u can get win7 to boot past acpi error @ install now?
Sorry for necroposting. I have ASUS X670E-I, I also enabled Modern Standby option using SCEWIN, also I tried to add modified acpitabl.dat
, but without success. I also see Modern Standby option only while using SCEWIN, I cannot find it in AMIBCP. So in my case BIOS doesn’t contain proper module or what? What “other options” did you also enabled?
