Asus G501JW and samsung 950 pro

I hope that my post is in the right place.

I have notebook asus G501JW >link< and M.2 NVMe SSD samsung 950 pro.
My question is, is possible use this ssd in my ntb ?
What i must do for it ?

Since I have never tried to insert a Samsung 950 Pro SSD into an Intel HM87 Chipset notebook, i am not sure regarding the answers.
My tip: Ask the ASUS Technical Support.

Hi.

Were you able to find out if it works?
Out of the box I don’t believe it is supported, because the laptop doesn’t see the device (in my case).

I tried this guide but couldn’t insert the NVMe module because of the “file size exceeds the volume size”.

So I’m out of ideas :frowning:
