Hey. I have i5 2400 with OC at 3851 MHz 1.256V BCLK 107 MHz on all cores, (in bios, the multiplier is set to 38), a multiplier of 36 max at full load cpu. The processor with a lower load on a single core reaches a multiplier of 37, 38. Is it possible to force a constant multiplier of 38 on all 4 cores by changing the bios microcode, as in the Xeon E5? I downloaded the latest 3801 bios, opened it with UEFITool_NE and extracted the microcode, opened it with HxD but I don’t know what to do next…
simple answer - no
SNB do NOT have that microcode bug.
