Asus s410un Bios Mod ( 14 x411un)

@BadSanta80 - You only need to do steps #6 onward in the guide, I gave the info from steps #1-5 on post #10 in this thread (I linked above, and below too). And yes, it’s flashed via FPT, I gave you the command to use at post #18 and below

Very sorry the BIOS is not good! I will look at it again, maybe I missed something? But, sounds also like maybe you didn’t get it flashed in fully or properly, since I unlocked BIOS Lock in the mod BIOS I sent you, so after it’s flashed in next time you wouldn’t get error 368 again

In the future, do not use WinFlash to flash the stock BIOS (Or any BIOS), use EZ Flash in BIOS or Asus in windows flash tool only.
Also NEVER Flash stock BIOS with FPT! FPT should only be used with your FPT dumped BIOS, otherwise you will loose your serial, UUID, MAC ID, ect and may brick the board if you use it incorrectly with stock .CAP BIOS. SO just never use with stock and no worries!

Here is new mod, I found issue I think! Since you’ve reflashed stock BIOS you will need to unlock BIOS Lock again as explained in post #10 of this thread
If this BIOS does not let you into BIOS too, I will have to remove 2nd boot menu and only unlock 2nd advanced and chipset.

Once you’ve unlocked BIOS Lock via setup_var, then flash mod BIOS via FPT >> FPTw.exe -bios -f biosregm3.bin

@Lost_N_BIOS Hi thanks again.

Same problem, black screen. :frowning:

WinFlash isn’t good for bios upgrade? I only forced it to upgrade from “307” to same version (307). (Just in case for the future) :slight_smile:

If this make your job easier, i only need to disable hyper-threading.

@BadSanta80 - No, Winflash isn’t ideal for this BIOS upgrade, it may be OK, but I suggest not using it since it’s not designed for Asus BIOS.
EZ Flash should allow you to reflash same version, maybe they forgot to enable it on this particular BIOS. Are you flashing the mod BIOS I send you with FPT or Winflash?
I will redo mod BIOS for you again, I think maybe enable one too many menu’s causing problem, I thought we solved that earlier but I guess not so I’ll go back to new Advanced and Chipset only since that’s proven to work properly by mod I made for cowpod
Here is mod BIOS again, this one should work without issue, this only has unlocked 2nd Advanced and Chipset, please flash using FPT >> FPTw.exe -bios -f biosregm4.bin (Disable BIOS lock again first)
