I just discovered this site and cannot believe the amount of support these older bios get. I have a Amd 8350 with a Asus Sabertooth 990fx r2 board. Love this computer to death and modified it neverending.
There was always something that bothered me was some ram settings don’t go as low as I hoped(secondary timings) that would help my system achieve greatness even more then it’s now.
I have a bit of knowledge on hex editing from old games but I would hate to brick my system since bios are touchy lol.
How would I go about doing this or having someone do this?
Well… maybe its not archivable as you expect and no great info/captures/modules info etc… was even provided, i’m not entirely aware of your specific issue on that mb but i think other users don’t have enough data to work with/answer to it.
Im sorry that your opinion on the forum has changed… anyway, good luck.
EDIT: “Numbers”… could you clarify those and where are they… it could help to improve your POV of such…
Finally someone came by and said something so thanks for that. It’s not really any issue it’s just a lack of numbers that are possible for the bios(the bios was programmed to only have certain numbers and that’s it)
I would like to see some numbers that the bios doesn’t have for certain ram numbers or various other settings. For example 1 instead of 2 being the lowest.
