Hello everyone. I have an Asus Vivobook Pro 16x OLED with a i9 13980HX and a RTX 4070. I wanted to undervolt this laptop so I went about unlocking it since there is no option the shitty BIOS - side note: why on earth does this laptop use a shitty MyAsus in UEFI? So I booted into the grub shell and ran the following two commands:
setup_var CpuSetup 0x10e 0x0
setup_var CpuSetup 0x43 0x0
This unlocked overclocking but didnt unlock undervolting which was protected by Undervolt Protection. I then dumped the BIOS and extracted the section which contained Undervolt Protection. There are two mentions of it but it does not specify what value it needs to be set to. I have tried writing 0x0 to both of them but to no avail. Could someone please help. Many thanks.
