Hi all,
I have an Asus X44L laptop here that originally came with a dual core i3-2310M and the HM65 chipset. With the help of my friend, who added the necessary microcode (206A5) and hard-disabled ME, I have a D0-step quad core engineering sample working in it (it has no Qspec, but apart from clockspeed, the following info will be relevant: http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/Q1/Q15M.html).
I also have an Ivy Bridge QBZX CPU, which is an E0-stepping qualification sample for the i7-3720QM. If possible, I would like to get this CPU working in this laptop.
I’ve attached the BIOS my friend made.
