@MitchGaming - Sorry for delay, always buried here now
Can you please update that BIOS to 312 as well, and then re-unlock BIOS/SMI lock, then dump with FPT again. That way your on latest BIOS, and it’s easier for me to swap in the edits
If you want to keep this system on 308 for some particular reason, it’s OK, I can re-edit 308 BIOS instead if you don’t want to update it, let me know
@Lost_N_BIOS sorry, i want to keep my bios on the lower version, sorry if this makes it harder for you, but if it makes it easier for you to do your work then i can update it.
------------------------
@Lost_N_BIOS ok i updated the bios so now it will be easier for you
btw forgot to put new bios dump link lmao: https://ufile.io/0vnjnjey
@MitchGaming - As mentioned, I would have edited older version if you wanted, but all updated now so no worries

@Lost_N_BIOS Ok i just flashed it, now i am gonna try it
@MitchGaming - Good luck tinkering around! And, I forgot my unlock laptop warning, so here you are
*** WARNING - To ANYONE with laptop and unlocked BIOS!!! ***
DO NOT try to enable this graphics card or disable that card, switch cards etc. Otherwise you will end up with no display output (ie black screen) and no way to recover except by blind flash or with flash programmer.
You can change graphics related settings, like changing memory sizes, or core speeds etc, just don’t try to disable one card or change which is main etc.
Additionally, be very careful when trying to undervolt CPU, you can leave BIOS unbootable due to CPU voltage too low (Sometimes even 0.05 is too much)
@Lost_N_BIOS before i go i wanna ask 2 more things.
1. do you know anything about overclocking capabilities or graphics overclocking for this laptop, if so do you know good settings?
2. My brother has a dell optiplex 9020 that he wants to unlock the bios on, is it possible for that machine?
thank you
@ MitchGaming - Sorry, I don’t know anything about overclocking on laptops, or laptop graphics etc
On the 9020, not sure, he’d have to send me BIOS images, and go through the FPT dance. I just looked at the BIOS and from what I see and know about Dell BIOS, he can probably see most of what all is in there
@Lost_N_BIOS Ok Thanks for that, i will tell him that, thanks for helping again
