Hi all,
I would need your help with the following issue. I have an Asus Z270-A Rev 1.02 board had a bad BIOS chip. I was not able to read the chip, so I bought a replacement M125Q128A.
Afterwards I downloaded the current available BIOS file from Asus website - Asus Z270-A BIOS 1302 (CAP file). Then I used UEFITool to Extracted Body As and converted it to a BIN file. I flashed it to the BIOS chip using CH341A programmer and then soldered it to the motherboard.
The board now starts but shuts down immediately as goes into sleep mode. As I read on the forum TPU firmware needs to match BIOS firmware when board starts.
I found the thread [SOLVED] Asus TPU unit firmware GUID in this forum (section BIOS Modding Guides and Problems), but it not very clear what I should do in order to match TPU firmware and BIOS firmware.
TPU firmware is written in a flash chip W25X05CL, I read it using CH341A programmer and the content is attached below.
Please help me with ideas how to fix the board.
