ASUS Z87M-PLUS motherboard-XP(32)bit-Intel-RST-problem

That looks good.
Obviously the Bart PE building tool was able to read the TXTSETUP.OEM I have constructed.

I will do a deeper look into the files.

EDIT 1:
There was a mistake within the TXTSETUP.OEM file.
Please download the attached file from >here< and try it again.
Good luck!

EDIT 2:
The linked driverpack has been deleted, because it doesn’t work for the Bart PEBuilder.

Hello Fernando,
now it seems it is all correct:
in:
\I386\INF
there is IAAHCIC.INF
in:
\I386\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS
there is:
IASTORA.SYS
in TXTSETUP.SIF which is in:
\I386
there are this lines associated with Intel storage:

what do you think?
if you wish I can now upload iso file to dropbox - it is BartPE ONLY with your LATEST drivers so you can verify if it works on your system
if you confirm it does, then I need some more time to create fully blown BartPE with all drivers and additional software
Regards, espace

That looks much better than I have expected. The question is, if the Bart PE CD will be usable with all these Intel AHCI and RAID Controllers.

Yes, that would be fine.
As soon as I have tested it, I will let you know the result.

Hello, I have sent you PM as promissed
Be aware it is ONLY basic BartPE with your lates Intel drivers-nothing else
regards,espace

@ espace13:
Thanks for the link to the Bart PE iso file.
I have burnt a bootable Bart PE CD, booted off it and got the error message: "The file iaStorA.sys could not be found. Press any key to continue."
This is the standard error message, when the textmode driver has not been correctly integrated into the XP ISO file.
According to my knowledge the real driver (iaStorA.sys) has to be within the root of the i386 directory, where it is missing here. It is not enough to have it within the i386\system32\drivers folder). Additionally the INF file named iaStorAC.inf is missing within the Bart PE image you have uploaded.
EDIT 1:
Since I am interested in finding the reason for the Bart PE CD boot failure, I just have built myself a new pebuilder.iso file using the PEBuilder software, but this time I integrated the "Universal 32bit Intel RST AHCI & RAID driver v11.2.0.1006 mod by Fernando". With this CD I was able to boot into the Bart PE GUI (but could neither use the keyboard nor the mouse - why?).
This lets me think, that either the PEBuilder software was not able to integrate the "32bit Intel RSTe AHCI & RAID drivers v12.8.11.1000 mod by Fernando" correctly or the TXTSETUP.OEM file I had created is unusable.
EDIT 2:
After having spent a lot of time with editing/customizing the files TXTSETUP.OEM and TXTSETUP.SIF and trying to boot off the related Bart PE test CD I am going to give up the project to prepare a modded Intel RST(e) driverpack v12.8 or higher, which can be used as F6 driver to get Windows XP installed or as SCSI textmode driver for the creation of a Bart PE CD.

Hello Fernando,
Thanks for reply. My previous BartPE cd was already using “Universal 32bit Intel RST AHCI & RAID driver v11.2.0.1006 mod by Fernando” and it works fine(except for ASUS Z87M-PLUS)
regarding "The file iaStorA.sys could not be found. Press any key to continue."
you can ‘inject’ this file using UltraISO in the root of the i386 directory, and give it a try (I use UltraISO very often especially when adding something to existing ISO image)
Regarding :could neither use the keyboard nor the mouse - I have never encountered susch a problem, and I have used USB keyboard and mouse and also ‘old’ type of connection(I think it is called PS2); perhaps you have to enable in BIOS FULL USB support
At the moment I do not have any PC with newer Intel chipset, so I am not able to test it myself
Regards, espace
PS
1. you can always create bootable USB ‘stick’ from existing ISO image using free tool named rufus;you can get it here: http://rufus.akeo.ie/
2. if you wish I can upload my previous BartPE cd to dropbox, but I can do that later in the evening-I believe it should work with your HW
3. Regarding your comment:Additionally the INF file named iaStorAC.inf is missing within the Bart PE image-well I have no influence on what/hov pebuilder integrates drivers

I have done it already yesterday, but with no success. The "missing iaStorA.sys" message came up again.

Yes, but this will not solve the problem, that I am not able to boot into the GUI of the Bart PE CD after having integrated the modded Intel RST(e) driver v12.8.11.1000 with self-built TXTSETUP.OEM.
By the way: The "missing iaStorA.sys" error message is absolutely misleading, because I get it even when the file is present everywhere within the PEBuilder image. So there must be another reason for the Bart PE CD boot failure.

I am using this tool since a long time, because it even supports the clean UEFI mode booting (needs FAT32 formatting).

Hello Fernando,
1. Did you try to create BartPE with your modded Intel RapidStorage 11.2.0.1006? it should work(it works for me as I have already written)
2. Do you plan to work further on modded TXTSETUP.OEM for Intel RapidStorage 12.8.11.1000?
Regards,espace

Yes, I did,and it worked.

No, but maybe I will restart some tests, if I should have a new idea.

Hello Fernando,
Today I have visited your website and found out you have made new modded IRS drivers-May-2014 version
In your opinion would it be possible to make BartPE CD using your lates mod. drivers that would support ASUS Z87M-PLUS?
(At the moment I do not have PC where I would be able to test it)
Thanks for you reply
Regards
espace

Yes, I am confident, that it will work, if you highlight the correct Intel SATA AHCI Controller while doing the textmode driver integration.
Please check the DeviceID of the on-board Intel SATA AHCI Controller before you start with the driver integration.

EDIT: If you should not succeed with the"Universally modified" Intel RST driver v11.2.0.1006, you should try the "Universally modified" Intel MSM driver v8.9.8.1005.

Hello Fernando,
Thanks for your answer
I will try, but as for result I will let you know when I (again) get hold of PC with ASUS Z87M-PLUS motherboard
Regards,
espace

Hello Fernando,
I am confirming that your latest(may 2014) Intel RST modded drivers 11.2.0.1006 work with BartPE CD on ASUS Z87M-PLUS
Raid1 is correctly recognized
THANK YOU VERY MUCH !

Hello espace,

thanks for your feedback, which is good news for everyone with a similar problem.

Kind regards
