I have successfully modded the BIOS of my ASUS Z97-A and flashed using AFUDOS /GAN parameter. Unfortunately however I was unaware of system specific information (MAC, DTS key, UUID, S/N) being stored on the BIOS chip and being overwritten and thus I haven’t created a backup of the original BIOS using AFUDOS /O parameter.
I was able to restore MAC from a motherboard sticker and UUID, S/N from a crash dump containing WMI data using FD44Editor. FD44Editor however has not support Z97-A, so I don’t know whether Z97-A BIOS is supposed to contain a DTS key and in what format.
Could you please help me with providing information on whether original Z97-A BIOS contains a DTS key.
No Z97-based board ever had DTS key, AFAIK, don’t worry about it.
