Hello.
I have a portable asus U43JC and would like your help because I have a problem in this portable that neither Microsoft and asus can solve.
From what I could consider myself the problem is in bios, however I can not figure out where.
I would like to install windows 10 in this portable, however I can´t install windows 10 or Windows 8.1.
The maximum that can install this protatil is the operating system "Windows 8.0"
When I try to boot from USB / DVD to install Windows 8.1 displays a blue screen with the message "Driver Violation"
When I try to boot from USB / DVD to install Windows 10, displays a blue screen with the message "system thread not handled"
The problem is in the bios, does someone get me ajuar to solve this problem in order to install a newer windows.
My pc and bios:

@Spartan :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
Questions:
1. How did you create the bootable Win10 image and which drive (USB/DVD) did you use?
2. Did you try a clean install of Win10 or an upgrade from Win7/8 to Win10?
3. At which stage of the clean Win10 installation did you get the error message?
4. Is your system drive running in AHCI or in RAID mode?
5. Have you already seen >this< guide about how to fix the "System Thread Exception Not Handled" error message? If not, try it.
Good luck!

I tested both USB and DVD, I used a Microsoft program called "Windows USB/DVD tools" and this work on other’s computers, this computer also works because it goes up to the part where are loading with the symbol of windows 8.1/10 with wheel spin, before entering the options to install the windows.
I’ve tried everything.
clean install and update
Windows 7 to Windows 10 and Windows 8.0 to Windows 10
Dont work.
He begins to read the pen and i get the error before reaching the part where you choose if you want to upgrade or custom installation.
I can not even get this menu:

Is running in AHCI
Yes, and dont work.

I recommend to use an USB Flash Drive and the tool named Rufus for the creation of a bootable Win10 image.
I’ve tried everything.
A clean install is the best choice.

I make usb flash drive with rufus and is the same problem.
Windows 8.1:
After the Windows logo appears while booting from usb, about twenty seconds later, "DRIVER_VIOLATION" error comes out as BSOD. Then the laptop model restarts. No any dump file creating HDD.
Windows 10:
After the Windows logo appears while booting from usb, about twenty seconds later, "System Thread Exception Not Handled" error comes out as BSOD. Then the laptop model restarts. No any dump file creating HDD.
Someone said that the problem is related to this:
"During the days that i am working on my laptop, I finally figured out the source of blue screen error according to my tests thanks to BOOT.WIM of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 TP.
The reason of blue screen error is the ACPI.SYS file, which means that each of the ACPI.SYS versions in Windows 8.1 (NT 6.3) and the ones after that don’t match with the related ASUS models containing AMIBIOS’s. "
I doubt, that this is true.
According to my knowledge your notebook has been delivered with Windows 7. Maybe ASUS has blocked the installation of any other OS.
If I am right, doing a secure erase of the system drive may solve your problem.
have the bsod name "system thread exception not handled"
