What I understood is that during first stage of POST there is a verification of Compressed Area with a CRC test. The result is compared with a know-good value. Where is exactly stored this know-good value? Thank you.
Sometimes some module have CRC, some do not, it’s usually stored in the module header. More info is needed here, what BIOS are you editing, and what module are you editing in that BIOS?
