I just bought the below NVMe and adapter from newegg for my T3600. Used coupon code ONLYUA2A to get 10% off (for new newegg email subscribers):
NVMe: Crucial P5 1TB 3D NAND NVMe Internal SSD, up to 3400 MB/s - CT1000P5SSD8
Adapter: Sabrent NVMe M.2 SSD to PCIe X16/X8/X4 Card with Aluminum Heat Sink (EC-PCIE)
I see there’s a method using clover, and saw someone else trying to mod the bios\ME engine. Has anyone had success with any method for booting NVMe on Dell 3600?
Current bios installed, A18

HWiNFO64 shows:
Intel ME Version: 7.1, Build 3272, Hot Fix 91
Any recommendations?
@goslackware :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Since your problem is BIOS related and has nothing to do with the “Storage Drivers” Sub-Forum, I have moved your request into the “NVMew Support for old Systems” Sub-Forum. Addiionally I have merged your 3 posts (to save space).
Acoording to what I know you will have to dump the currently in-use BIOS Region (is within your mainboard’s BIOS chip), to insert the required NVMe module and to reflash the modded BIOS.
You should better ask our BIOS Guru Lost_N_BIOS for help.
Good luck!
