Booting NVME disk not working after re-flashing

Hello lovely people, some time ago i patched with the informations gathered here nvme support into my P9X79-WS bios, installed windows on the nvme disk,
everything ok, never had problems.
Then i found the ReBAR thing, patched it into the bios file, flashed it but it didnt work, ok no problem, had no downsides, just this feeling
to have something flashed that didnt work.
So i flashed back the bios with just nvme support in it, since that its not possible to boot from the nvme disk.
In windows ive running from a sata disk i can see and have access to the data on the nvme disk, but booting it isnt working.
What happend and where is the mistake i did?

In UEFI i used every switch i remember to belong the nvme support topic, pulled battery and i used the clear rtc jumper.
Cant explain to me what was happend,
please to your help, thanks in advace.

Unless the first OS install wasn’t made in UEFI environment and was on CSM ON/AUTO with no ESP partition created.
A NVMe boot system should use PURE UEFI environment OS and bios settings.
Also usually systems installed in UEFI environment can also boot in CSM ON/AUTO legacy mode.
So its lack to know what that “Your” REBAR mod contained… and what did mess with the system boot.

State what you mean by NOT Booting anymore… Windows fail or lack of a UEFI OS boot entry in the bios boot manger.

Was not clear with that, the nvme disk does not show up in bios, so i think its not a windows issue, even out from ventoy its not possible to boot from the vnme disk, its justlike it isnt there. As i remember i did everything with UEFI only or UEFI first. When i write this i come up to try booting win 10 setup from USB to see if the nvme disk is recognized to install windows on it, just a shoot into the blue.
Greetings

You don’t see the disk in the bios, you can see the bootmanager. Boot the recovery environment from an Windows install usb- stick and check if it finds you installation. You’ll possibly need to gove the EFI system disk a drive letter to get the commands to work. Lots of websites covering this.

Hey Win-Raid frens, thanks for sticking around and offering your solutions. The problem’s solved, and turns out I was the “not working” part after all. Long story short, I managed to flash the modified BIOS back then purely by luck. I stopped following the guide halfway through and just tried random stuff until it eventually worked with Afuwin… you know how it goes. Thanks again and all the best, catch you around.
Cheers!
