Can someone figure out how to extract the BIOS files from .exe's for MSI motherboards?

I’m doing something dumb with an HP motherboard, and I’m trying to use some MSI BIOSes from similar enough boards. However, MSI distributes BIOSes as .exe’s which can extract on the systems they are made for, but nothing else. I’ve already tried B2MB.exe, which just says the BIOS file is invalid when trying to extract the .rom files from the .exe.
