Hello,
Have a supermicro 1U server with this board in it. X10SLL-F (http://www.supermicro.com/products/mothe…20/X10SLL-F.cfm). This has a C222 chipset in it. When installing windows you need to load the driver for it to see the storage, and the drivers provided are the v4.2.0.1136 (02/12/2015). Once, this is loaded I can see the disks. Windows will install and boot, but it never allows me to allocate more than 2TB of the 4TB Raid-1 array?
I’ve spent about 6 or 7 hours on this today. I’ve never had so much trouble getting windows 7 installed in my life. There is no bios update for the motherboard at this time. I’ve talked with supermicro tech support and they said it should just work. I’ve tried all the different “legay” vs “UEFI” options, and nothing works.
I did the installation via a USB jump drive, and I was very careful to select the UEFI option for the booting of the jump drive. So I was in UEFI mode during the installation. I need the 4TB of storage for this machine.
Any other suggestions? Very frustrated.
Thanks!
