Hi there again,
Another brick like always
Does anyone know if those chips can be dumped (specially with CH341A or any other):
(chips are 48 pin each).
It’s from a kinda expensive Keyboard, NewSkill Gungnyr Pro optomechanical…
ps: @MeatWar (can you check please!!!)
WEITRON as a PLD/ARM if not mistaken, sorry but i cant help on this as i simple dont have the knowlodge.
A TPU review of a keyboard shows another IC vendor but even they didnt got a specific conclusion about a possible ARM controller.

Thank you so much for your reply, I’m pretty much SOL…
In the .cfg it says ic_type = MWV602 (no info either on internet) but there’s 0 more chips in the board and also no reset + ground pins (could only find pad reset + ground) and tried shorting but does nothing, it’s likely just to send reset data to the wrist pad which is magnetic and connects in that connection to turn on it’s RGB…
The keyboard software and even FW is so bad, I was reverse engineering it and trying to make a dimmer for the ring around the keyboard, but it’s a HUGE pain, to me both software and FW seems to have been codded by Chinese kids, even the updater has typos and both updater and software with resource hacker shows lot of unused Chinese prompts.
ps: Do you know any forum specialized in keyboard hacking, reverse engineering, programming them…? (QMK is pointless, they don’t support my keyboard or know anything about it).
Thank you so much for your precious time, I will forward that info to a pro from here and go there with him to see if we can crack it down one of those days.
Also sent a mail to the brand and their support = 0, they don’t do repairs neither want to shar e any recovery tool and neither just simply sell me both chips.
ps: You saved my bacon quite some times, THANKS!!!
We couldn’t get a single read of the chip FW sadly, but for now I have only went with basic stuff and currently have this.
U2 green pin (41) when pulled high seems to enter some kind of debug/boot mode with the same pattern of keys lighting and blinking and since its optical keyboard, closing the beam on those blinking keys the pattern blinks much slower, but sadly never exposes bootloader on windows which should be vid_2ea8&pid_0001
And Yellow on U1 seems to be reset and after reset the pin 41 instead of blinking white blinks in red, but nothing in the PC sadly…
