Changing Microcode on ASUS Z790-A Gaming Wifi

Hey guys,

Im planning on building a new System.
As far as I know to BCLK overclock a 12th gen CPU 2 things are needed.
External clock gen and “faulty” / “old” Microcode.
The highest tier chipsets aka Z690 and Z790 should all bring the external clock gens with them,
but they are missing the microcode essentially.

The CPU I wanna use in particular is a 12400F the CPU ID should be: 0x90672 if Im not mistaken.
But I dont mind changing all MCs out.
Anway.

As far as I can see the Microcodes from the modded Apex Encore Bios work well (tested my own) and I would like to have those MCs into the Z790 Strix board. Hoping that… changing out the MC will do the trick.
Since the Board has a BFB function the risk should be … relatively low. If not… a skypro programmer is also something which I call my own, inclusive the well known CHA341

The Apex BIOS (non_K) can be found here:

and the Strix BIOS can be found here:

I would be very pleased if someone could do that for me.

Greetings
