Dell 7010 NVME + BIOS Lock Mod Discussion

Hi @sith

As far as I understand you had completed following steps:
1. Install jumper to enable Service mode
2. Crete full SPI dump 12 Mb (FPT.exe -d backup.bin) from FreeDos
3. Create BIOS region dump 6 Mb (fpt.exe -bios -d bios.bin)
4. Mod BIOS region dump from step 3 by MMTool 4.5
5. Insert NVE small compressed due to volume size limitation (volume 03.02-00 at position B8)
6. Write mod to flash (fpt.exe -bios -f mybios.bin)
7. Remove jumper to disable Service mode
8. Install Windows 10 at UEFI mode to GPT nvme disk
Is it correct?
As I understand you flash BIOS mod from MMTool 4.5 and it’s working fine.

I confirm that sequence from post #41 is working fine.
BTW, I eliminated "Alert! No hard drive found" by unchecked all SATA drive in BIOS except SATA CD-ROM.

Post 41, confirmed working on a dell precision t5610. Also post 42’s solution to disable the no hard drive found error, worked as well. Thanks guys!

@blu702 I am use T5610 just like you and I want to install m2 SSD. Can you send me your modded bios?
