Hey,
I work in an electronic factory, a friend at work asked me to help him with a DELL laptop with a password (bios + boot).
I tried a few tricks I’ve found online to reset the bios - no luck, I removed the bios chip winbond 25Q32FVSIQ, I though I can just flash it with a flasher, then I’ve found out that the bios file from DELL site is encrypted…
I tried the Python tool, no luck, it says “Error: This is not a Dell PFS BIOS executable!”.
And I have a dump from the chips.
1. Can I edit the dump in order to remove the password ?
2. Can I get a clean bin file somehow ?
3. Any other Ideas ?
