Could you please guide me what to do next to resolve this problem with power off after 30 minutes ?
Thank you!
The ME firmware is corrupted. From what I can tell from “fpt -i”, your Flash Descriptor is unlocked so you have read/write access to the ME firmware region of the SPI/BIOS chip. Thus, you need to dump your SPI image via “fpt -d spi.bin”, follow [Guide] Clean Dumped Intel Engine (CS)ME/(CS)TXE Regions with Data Initialization and flash back the output via “fpt -f outimage.bin” followed by “fpt -greset”. After the restart, the system should show a healthy output at “MEInfo -fwsts” and not shutdown every 30 minutes.
Dear plutomaniac!
Thank you VERY MUCH!
following your guide for me take 2 hours - but sure you spend a LOT more time to write this GUIDE and for sure put some love for users of IME

link to your ME Analizer - which is great soft to find exactly which version is on system - if you can put it in bold - it will be easy for novice
one question is open - why it is happens with IME in bios?
At least your guide is answer to next question - what to do if it is happened!
THANK YOU!!!
Great, I’m glad you were able to solve the problem. Enjoy your repaired system.
If you mean "why this happens", it is usually just bad luck. At least your Flash Descriptor was already unlocked, otherwise you would have needed to follow [Guide] Unlock Intel Flash Descriptor Read/Write Access Permissions for SPI Servicing which is a pain usually.
Dear plutomaniac!
what’s interesting, almost a year later - the problem repeated again - every half an hour this laptop turns off
meinfo shows that is IME damaged as year ago
very glad that saved the flash drive with outimage.bin - just rewritten and greset
but the question then remains - why is this happening and how to fix this problem?
Thank you!
Well, a lot of hypothesis here. Could be that the SPI chip is going bad and the ME file system gets corrupted from time to time. Or maybe the BIOS does something wrongfully from time to time. Or the ME just manages to corrupt itself for some reason. Who knows really. But at least you are able to repair it very easily.
Yes - at least repair this time was much easy task!
Thank you again for your guide!
No problem, I’m glad you found help here.
So in the end there is no solution of this problem? (30 minutes then shut down)
