Has anyone installed Intel ME Firmware version 11.6.29.3287 (Lenovo’s n1drg53w)
AND
followed the steps to disable Intel AMT (published by Intel as mitigation for CVE-2017-5689)
AND
confirmed that these steps DO WORK to disable AMT under the new firmware?

TIA
based on my test it is not necessary to follow those steps because Intel AMT is removed from the system (Service, Files, Everything).
the “ACUConfig.exe UnConfigure” command returns nothing, and “SCSDiscovery.exe” returns that my laptop only runs Intel® Small Business Advantage, which has been discontinued since late 2016 and doesn’t seem to be running on my machine.
is it correct to assume that Intel ME now no longer has any Windows processes/services running, and therefore if your computer is not connected via ethernet Intel ME is now completely isolated and inaccessible?
thanks!
