i was flash this firmware Asmedia ASM-1074 USB 3.x Firmware Version 140415.03.229.00

but I have doubts that it is correct and I would like to find the correct or original one.

What’s the correct firmware update for this chip?
Chip is marked as 1142, Device id is 1242 and Mptools says SVID is 1043? I’m confused.

Status report:

I updated up to 150707_30_02_1F (first to 150707_30_02_15 from station-drivers, then 150707_30_02_1F from usbdev)

SSID/SVID has changed but otherwise USB ports still seems to be working (at least not borked :grinning:)

Finally I’ve updated it to the latest version 150707_30_02_22
This time I also entered the Asus’ SSID/SVID in the mptool. Seems to be OK so far.
