I there any chance to convert a .FL1 extension bios file to .ROM bios file? Tried once, but cant update the bios with winphlash

What has your question to do with the UBU tool resp. with the topic of this thread?
The UBU tool can update several modules of an UEFI BIOS, but cannot flash a modded BIOS.

Are both files identical? If yes, why did you post them twice?

No, not identical. I look at a lot of BIOS. I don’t remember which is which.
1st is MSI motherboard, 2nd is Lenovo ThinkPad tablet. Maybe.
@SoniX how are you? 1,5 month passed, at least microcode database have to be updated. How are your eyes? Did you get well?

You can download the new version of MCE and copy it to the UBU folder.
Then use the UBU’s MICRO CODE to check if it is up to date using MCE.
And edit the contents of “MCUpdate.txt”

I have been using ubu for quite some time and tool has always worked well for me with numerous asus bios. Currently I am trying to update orom and efi modules on rampage iv extreme bios. Unfortunately if I choose irst as raid choice in bios, I cannot boot, module doesnt load and ssd shows up as non bootable. I downloaded modules from this forum. rste works perfect. also upon completing orom efi modules update with ubu, i insert nvme module, that btw works perfect.
1- is there somewhere to download sonix orom efi zip archive?
2- what modules for irst orom and efi are compatible for my board?

It depends on your BIOS settings regarding RST.
"RST mode" > RST RAID modules (e.g. v13.1.0.2126)
"RSTe mode" > RSTe RAID modules (e.g. v4.7.0.1017)
I guess that was the problem, I was trying 15 and 16 series modules
BTW, just LIKE I inserted the nvme module, should I insert the 4.7 efi raid driver?
Yes you can do it the same way, if you use an *.ffs file (with GUID header).
What happened to Sonyx repository? Seems like he has nothing online right now

But UBU has not been updated for a long time.
