Hi,
I am not an advanced user, still a noob.
Can someone tell me whether Windows 11 supports the following hardware, natively,
without using the bypass method:
- 10TH COMET LAKE QTJ1 0000 2.1G 8C16T MODIFIED LAPTOP CPU TO LGA 1151
- Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 socket 1151 motherboard.
I have ordered the above hardware, it should arrive soon.
My CPU seller from Aliexpress has confirmed that Windows 11 does not natively support
the above hardware.
The motherboard has got Intel Platform Trusted Technology feature to enable TPM 2.0 firmware. And Secure Boot feature can be turned on in the UEFI BIOS.
I cannot see the reason why the CPU + mobo does not support Windows 11.
After all, if it is the real Laptop NON-ES CPU, using the same Comet Lake chip, it does support Windows 11 installation on the laptop.
Did overlook something important that I cannot join the dots?
Since this is a mutant PC, that is why it is not supported? That’s it period.
Can someone confirm?
Thank you.
