Is this possible?
Seems so, 9.1.30.1008 states its for 9-Series chipsets. X99 is just that. Z97 exists though, however why would the release say 9-Series instead of just Z97 or X99 if the release was only for one of those two chipsets.
Thanks in advance for the reply. I am sure it’s a 1.5mb version as this board doesn’t have ISBA 2.0 support. I assume so anyway, it’s a gaming board through & through.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
You are wrong regarding the latter statement.
Although the first number may indicate something else, the Intel X99 Chipset (aka Wellsburg) doesn’t belong to the Intel 9-Series Chipsets (as well as the X79 Chipset doesn’t belong to the 7-Series Chipsets). The main difference is the completely different CPU socket.

If you currently have 9.1 firmware, update to the latest 9.1 firmware. The same rule of thumb applies to every other generation. Simple as that.
Hmph. Did not know that. Thanks bro. Appreciate the info.
Same to you pluto, appreciated. I’ve got a handle on MEI flashing now. This was the only area I was unsure of. 9.1.30.1008 flashed fine and is currently working well.
Thanks again both of you!
