Hi, I analyzed a BIOS.fd from a Insyde BIOS update for my Lenovo laptop. I used an extractor to get the .bin file from the BIOS.fd. I used HxD to compare the .bin with the .fd. The only difference is that the .bin is missing stuff at the beginning and at the end. I attached the whole .fd, the data of the beginning and the end of the .fd file. The extracted .bin file has the size 16,777,216 bytes just as a complete BIOS dump with FPTW (I use FPTW.exe -d Dump.bin). Can I flash my BIOS chip with a flash programmer with the extracted BIOS.bin from the BIOS.fd file? And what would happen?
