hello everyone, I want to flash the latest bios to my motherboard. I am using a new flash chip and I am unsure about the GBE region. It has a realtek lan chip but according to the guide in rototron.info/uefi-bios-repair-tutorial , if the fd44 editor shows gbe version as not present I need to set it manually. I cant figure what I should do. My question is, if i flash the new bios to the chip with the old chip data (uuid, serial and lan mac) but without the gbe region info, could it wipe my lan chip data? I am afraid it will cause ethernet issues.
