Hello,

I wanna have the advanced menu for my laptop. Is read write protected, and I have a CH341A programmer to help me with that. I have tried reading the chip, with CH341A programmer v.1.34, but haven’t written into it yet.

The chipset I have is a MX25L6473F, the laptop I have is a helios 300 model: G3-572. The bios version I have is v1.22. I can’t post link because I yet have minimum of 3 post. But if you search up my laptop model plus malaysia and bios, the first link should be my stock bios page.

I have attached my dump file, but idk if that looks correct.
If anyone can help me unlock the advanced menu for my bios that will be swell.

@Ng-He , hi! How did it happen that you read a dump larger than the amount of MX25L6473F flash memory?

@Sweet_Kitten , honestly, no idea… I did nothing to it apart from just read zip and send…

And the dump file is 8388608 bytes shown on CH341A programmer and I have 8mb on the chip.

Yes, but the file you sent is 8389632 bytes in size.

I am stumped… I don’t now the software says is 8608 byte, but when i save is 9632 byte. I am very confused, I tried reading and saving multiple times, same thing… help…? T.T

@Ng-He , try using AsProgrammer software. If the result turns out to be bad, then we will flash from the system, and without CH341A.
