GA-990FXA-UD5 (rev 1.x) Does not work boot with ssd nvme.

I saw that here in the forum some people can change the bios. I would like to know if it is possible to modify the bios of this gygabyte card to boot through the pci port

GA-990FXA-UD5 (rev. 1.x)
M.2 NVMe SSD PCIe X4 Adapter - UGT-M2PC100
SSD Kingston A1000, 240GB, M.2 NVMe, Leitura 1500MB/s, Gravação 800MB/s - SA1000M8/240G

I’m from Brazil. I do not know how to speak English, I’m using google translator.

@darkyoulan - Rev 1.0 board does not have UEFI BIOS, so you cannot do NVME Mod on this BIOS. Time to update to newer motherboard

* Edit Or @darkyoulan - you can do this to boot from the NVME >>

  • Alternative methods to use an NVMe SSD as bootable drive with older systems (no BIOS modding required):
    1. “Clover-EFI Bootloader Method” (the related guide written by our Forum member Nyctophilia can be found >here<)
    2. “DUET-USB Boot Method” (the related guides written by our Forum members noInk resp. mireque can be found >here<, >here< and >here<)
