My WD Red drives are being detected as SATA 1.5Gb instead of 3Gb in RAID utility. So I tried to update the DEV_4392 RAID ROM + MISC to v3.3.1540.19 with no success. I was using CBROM155 and CBROM198. With with CBROM155 the board would not start. Had to hold power for 5sec to run backup bios recovery. Using CBROM198, the BIOS wouldn’t flash at all.
Info from CBROM198
PCI ROM[A] RAID750.BIN is 61KB
HOLE2 UI750.BIN is 55KB
Files I downloaded:
1002-4392_v33154019.bin is 61KB
1002-4392_v33154019_misc.bin non UEFI 22KB
1002-4392_v33154019_misc.ffs UEFI 23KB
This board seems to support EFI boot, but I’m not sure if it’s the newer UEFI standard.
When I tried to update just RAID750.BIN, the board wouldn’t boot.
When I tried to update UI750.BIN as well, the DOS app wouldn’t flash it.

AHCI & RAID ROM Modules
Thanks for any info or help on modding this one.
Hi
Your board dont suportt uefi.
Modules in your BIOS are situated above the sensitive MINIT module. Read this :
Guide
If you cant do this i will do this for You in free time.
Could you please do this when you have time? I couldn’t figure it out.
fyi I don’t have RAID5 choise, so it must be the older AMD RAID controller that would need v3.2.1540.15.
@dimcool :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
Since I cannnot help you myself, I hope, that you get support by someone else.

880GMB33.zip (1.12 MB)
It says bad BIOS image.
I read somewhere that each module has to be redone manually from the last to the first, to make sure they’re in the original order.
I’m going to try and see if I can do this.
cbrom is unable to extract nc_cpucode. Is there a guide on extracting modules with hex editor? Couldn’t find one…
Probably hole2 is wrong try this.I update only ahci controler from 3.0.B.0 to 3.1.0.0 see it . If it works i will update other .
880GMB33v2.rar (1.05 MB)
This one works.
